The cardioversion didn't work.

I had Babs Bunny by my side, but they wouldn't allow me to play music on my phone. They kept increasing the power, but they still couldn't get my heart rhythm to stabilize. Now my cardiologist wants to do more tests, and he also brought up the subject of "ablation" - that's a procedure where they use electricity to burn out the conductive pathways ( Read more... )

Well, My very Dear Ace, I have just "re-discovered my LJ account and find this feed on it.
So sorry to hear about all the bits of you that are failing/falling off/not working.
I hope that the DAMN VIRUS and the Lopckdown situation has not interfered with whatever treatment they decided to give you, and that now you are happily on your way to Dancing on the Beach.
I remind you that you have to get better soon, as we have an appointment in 2047 for a joint birthday party on the moon, assuming Trump does not mine the site you picked for the party tent/bubble.
All my love my dear and sending you the warmest and most potent of goodwill wishes.

Nothing much has changed. My cardiologist now has me taking two different anti-arhythmia drugs, the second one gives me a dry mouth now and then and makes me need to go to the bathroom more. The problem is that ablation is, of course, an "elective" procedure, and the hospitals are too busy treating CORVID19 to do any elective procedures. I really want to get tested to see whether I have antibodies (which would indicate that I have been exposed to the virus), but they aren't deploying tests in NJ yet. But I wear my mask if I go out of the house (which I hardly do at all), and I wash my hands a lot.
