Zoey's closest people she saw die were her father and Bill, a man who became a father figure to Zoey during the course of the zombie apocalypse. She both have serious regrets for their deaths; she killed her father without knowing he might have been immune to zombification, and she got a serious split with Bill just shortly before his death. It's hard to say she's been close to her mother, but its definite that she had a very close relationship with her dad.

Sure you can! His soul is a translucent light purple, almost pink ball with a smile that wraps half way around it and a tail that fades into non-existence.
