Been about a week since my last LJ update, so there's several things to talk about.

1°) First, FESS.Apparently, things seem to have calmed down. But I'll remain on my guard for now ( Read more... )

megadrive, translations, fire emblem, fess, star ocean the second story, video games, manga

w000t! Congrats on finding Monshou no Nazo :D :D :D

And Ace, random question, but if you're getting physical copies of old games...could you keep an eye out for an old Genesis/Mega Drive game called Vixen 357? I LOVE that game, it was the first game I wrote a FAQ for on gameFAQs. ^_^

I can do that, but I seriously doubt I'll ever meet that game... Well, at least in US version. Maybe I'll have better luck with the Japanese version, when I'll be in Japan, who knows ? :)

There isn't a US version, 'twas only released in yapon T_T

Ah, ok. You just witnessed how much I didn't know one bit of this game before you mentioned it. Indeed, never heard of it. T_T

Kyaa I'm jealous~ I don't think there's any store around me that would have games like that X_X; There's a store that sells some Korean and Japanese games and more rare English games, but the most interesting thing I ever found was 牧場物語ミネラルタウンのなかまたち which I have little interest in because I already have it in English and that game is old and it was like $60 or something WTF (but I would totally get it if it was cheap as it's one of my favorite Bokumono games, but I would never pay more than like $10 for it LOL).

Everything else was REALLY stupid boring/common games and a million copies of them for high prices. But they did have a ton of rare English games like new copies of older Atlus games (no Snowboard Kids 2 though) and some more obscure RPGs and stuff. The only thing I ended up buying there was my giant Palkia doll though LOL. I love Palkia XD;

I've yet to play any Harvest Moon game, but I'd seriously like to if I ever have the time to do so. Those games have quite a bunch of mechanics I like in a video game (gestion system like in games such as Zoo Tycoon, customizations, and love system). ^_^

The Palkia pluchie you're talking about is the one in the photo you published on your LJ a week or so ago, right ? "~^

LOL yeah, that Palkia. I've had it for a while now but I still love it. It's one of my favorite plushies. Seriously just looking at my monitor now without looking away I can count maybe 10-15 plushies around the desk. LOL and like most of them are Pokémon... a couple Yoshi and Kirby too. It's not that I only get Nintendo ones, they're just often the cutest and easiest to find XD But they're always from games except my Sailor Mercury ( ... )

Don't excuse yourself, when I talk about a game I love I go in big ramblings too. ^^'

Damn, about a Harvest Moon with a developped love system... A year ago or so, I read a FAQ of one of the Harvest Moon, which seemed to have one, but I can remember which HM it was... Only things I remember was that there was a char named Cliff or something, who, depending of a dialogue choice you make, decide to leave the town forever, or stay, and, if I remember right, then automatically marries a girl named Anna (or something)...
Do you have an idea which HM it is, starting from those meagre clues ? @_@

You're a fan of Sailor Mercury ? I ask that, because I was in Sailor Moon fandom for a few months back in 2003, and my fave char in that fandom was (and still is) Ami Mizuno, aka Sailor Mercury. "~^
