Whoa! So much stuff! o_O

Congratulations on all of the wonderful finds! Looks like you'll be busy for quite some time to come reading and playing games in your (very rare) spare time! Wow...

And heehee! Food! I was hoping to see some of your cooking. ^_^ The rice salad does look good... (Mmmm, tomatoes!) I've never had it so I'm really curious as to what it tastes like. I usually stick with foods that are bad for me...eh, fried potatoes, chicken, etc. But I love salad (Mmmm, tomatoes! Green peppers! Cucumbers!)...heehee.

Yeah indeed, with all those games I'll be quite busy during the few times I'll be able to turn on the power of my PS2. :p To tell you the truth, I was so busy recently I haven't touched my PS2 since two weeks ago, and thus haven't even tried several of the games. How saddening. T_T

Hee hee, after seeing your answer on the last topic, I thought that you would be pleased seeing some of my food, so I thought it would have been a nice idea to include them in the topic, just like I did in the 4F. ;)
So apparently, vegetables is what you like the most in food ? :) I myself love vegetables, and it's a shame a lot of them are that expensive in Tôkyô, making it not practical to buy some on a regular basis. T_T

Oh, I do love vegetables! Heehee. I grew up with a garden, though, so I've always grown things like tomatoes. Last summer we canned 75 jars of them, haha!

I've heard how expensive vegetables were in Japan (Tokyo, at least), and I find that very disappointing.

Speaking of Japan, a friend of mine from work will be going there with her husband to work for a couple of years starting in 2009/2010... she's very excited. (She was there a few years ago for the same reason and loved it there!)

I know how it is being busy doing other things, though. I hate not being able to play video games like I used to when I was younger and had more free time. =/ Though I can't really complain since I write fanfiction most of the time, hehe.

It's strange, but everyone I know so far who loves vegetables grew up with a garden. I'm myself in that case as well. :p

Just curious... During her first trp in Japan, you friend stayed there for how many years ? ;)

OMG you got the Oosawa manga! *envy*

Think you can make some scans?

Only the last three tomes of it, unfortunately. And I find those three tomes weak for the most part, compared to the chapters of the first volumes I had the chance to read online. A friend at the 4F forums, who happens to have nearly all the collection of it, told me the quality of the manga dropped at about the last 1/3 of the series. :/

As I said with the scans of Hasha no Tsurugi for TheEnd, I currently don't have a scanner at my home in Japan. T_T

I'll try to see next week if there's a scanner in my university's library, but don't get your hopes too high. That being said, if you just want to see a couple pages, I can try taking photos of them with my camcorder, I just hope the quality won't be too crappy.

Wow, you must be rich 9_6

How much did Tokimemo 2 cost? With luck I'll be in Japan next year, so I should start saving up.

I'm not very rich, unfortunately, but since, while I was in France, I planned to get goodies of my fave series I couldn't find there during my trip to Japan, I saved up some money and made myself a budget for the goodies. And I bought ALL the goodies displayed here used, and at the lowest price I could find, if there were several shops proposing the same item. For instance, two of the four game shops I found so far in the area I live had copies of Tokimeki Memorial 1 : one sold it for 500 yen, the other for 1500 yen, both used and in good shape. I obviously went for the 500 yen one.

I got all of this for about 24000 yen if I correctly calculated, i.e. about 176,5 Euros. Not given for sure, but considering the sheer number of goodies, I really think that price is really cheap. :)

Yeah, considering what all you bought, that's a pretty good price o_o!

Oops, forgot talking about Tokimemo 2's price. @_@

I got my copy, used, for 1780 yen. But the thing is, I got this copy in the most expensive of the 4 shops I found in the area I live (it's there that I saw the 1500 yen TM1 copy (and it was the only one of them having that game), and you have to know the area I live is not a place such as Akihabara, so I've got the feeling this game can be findble at a cheaper price if you go to the right places.

omfg, so tasty ;_; I wish you would cook for me ;_;

Also, acenoctali-sama! ;______; Are there any libraries nearby that have scanners? I scan a lot of stuff at my skewl's library. Perhaps you could do the same with Hasha no Tsurugi? :D

What, you don't cook well ? T_T But thanks for the compliment ! :)

I could try and see if my university's library has scanners, but as I said to Sara, don't get your hopes too high. T_T

^^ You can stand up, my loyal retainer. :p

Yeah, I couldn't believe my eyes when I found that copy of Snatcher, so I snatched it ASAP (pun intended). ^^ It's really one of the main highlights of my findings so far. :)

And as for the Star Ocean stuff, I still haven't found everything I want. The main thing I'm still searching for in that franchise is the Blue Sphere game, but all the shops I found so far had a REALLY limited quantity of Game Boy Color games. So I think that for that one, I'll HAVE to go to Akihabara to find it.
