Pika Editions, the French manga publisher who's currently publishing Yua Kotegawa's Anne Freaks series, just released Line, the awesome one-shot from the same author

o_O That art is pretty. What's the story about? And you say it's a one-shot? I have to say, I love short manga series. Wish is one of my favorites, and even better that it's only four volumes long. So now thanks to you I'm curious about Line.
Yes, it's a one-shot. For information, most of Kotegawa's works are short : Shikeishuu 042, which I definitely recommend, is 5 tomes long, Anne Freaks is 4 tomes long, Arcana is a two-shot if I remember right, and Ottori Sousa is her longest work with 10 tomes. :p
There's a summary of Line on Anime News Ntework, but it's definitely not as good as the one available in French on Pika Editions' site, so I translated this one in English for you. ;)
As she picks up a seemingly lost cell phone and answer a call, Chiiko is caught in a macabre spiral : suicides to come are announced to her... How will she react, as the number of deaths are increasing around her ? The worst nightmares may have the most insignificant acts as a starting point ... By picking up a mobile phone abandoned on a bench station, Chiiko, a popular and a little carefree student, certainly wasn’t expecting her life would change radically. Wow, thanks so much! It sounds pretty fun. I went ahead and found it on Amazon and bought it. It's available in English. I'm a little disappointed that I never saw it before.
Wish is by Clamp. I didn't remember that; I had to look it up. I don't oftentimes pay attention to artists, but in the case of Wish, it's been a few years since I packed away my volumes. I haven't seen them since 2005. =P
A summary:
When Shuichiro rescues an angel he is granted a single wish. The problem? Shuichiro can’t think of any wishes that he couldn’t grant himself. Refusing to leave Shuichiro without granting a wish Amber, the angel, moves in with the young doctor to help out around the house and wait for a chance to return the favor. Of course, angels aren’t the only supernatural beings wandering the Earth. Soon, demons and archangels alike are stopping by Shuichiro’s house, making things difficult for his angelic roommate.
That's a lame summary, but yes. I thought it was a pretty fun, short series. If I like Line, I'll have to check out the other

Your summary of Wish reminds me a lot of both Devil & Devil and Ah My Goddess !. Seeing that I loved both of those manga, and seeing that I like CLAMP works, I'll definitely get a look on this one. Thanks for pointing this one to me, Manna ! :D
Oh, thinking about it... Since I recommended you Shikeishuu 042, and having remember that I wrote long ago a summary of its story on FESS, I went retrieve it. Thus, copy-pasta for you ^_^ :
* Shikeishû 042 (Détenu 042 in France) : Superb manga by Yua Kotegawa. I'll just translate Tome 1's French edition summary to give you the manga's storyline
