It has several similarities with Puzzle Dama, but the game mechanisms are different enough to make them two separate types of Puzzle Games. I'd say it's somewhat a mix of Puzzle Dama and Magical Drop / Money Idol Exchanger ; or even better if you know it, it's VERY similar to Sailor Moon Super S : Fuwa Fuwa Panic.
Since I made playthroughs of both games on Youtube, you can easily compare them and see the differences between them.
