Ash is quite believable in her reactions. She's as cocky as ever, annoying too. I kinda wished John would smack her around.

Helen never told Ash who John was. This cuts John deeply.

Yeah, I like to ignore the "well, when they were writing it" explanations since it's more fun the other way. ;)

Good point about the reach. J-Yo just added the first reach, too, which is so cool. She kinda has the same reaction to both, which says something in and of itself.

Love the lighting comment. Didn't notice that in our rewatch. And you know I agree with ya on the injection thing. That had to hurt at that angle.

It's possible that Watson disapprove of the experiment, and didn't want to be the one to do it in case it kills Helen. Whereas Nikola places greater confidence in Helen.
