Feel the word

Figured I should update this to let on how things are going.

So far I have about 4,200 words of my MoR entry typed up- that's about 6 and a half pages.  I have another 6 pages of notebook writing to type up.  And by type up I mean re-write and expand upon.  Or cut down.  Or whatever needs to happen to turn notebook ramblings into a coherent story.  ( Read more... )

Some people would love to stay looking that young. :P I feel your pain though. Being short and Asian I can pass off as a little kid. >.<

Happy belated birthday!

*laughs* People are funny that way :P Personally, I don't mind looking more like a grown up than a teenager. I'll sacrifice some vanity to get taken more seriously.

What I do envy about Asian people is the shiny smooth hair, mine is a curly frizzy mess most of the time. I guess we always want what we don't have ;-P

Thanks!

Ahahaha not all Asians are gifted with shiny smooth hair. Some of the ones that do have shiny smooth hair probably had a magi-perm, which constitutes as 4 hours of pure torture. Plus my dad and I have frizzy hair. Mine only magically straightens out because it's long and heavy. ;) And now you know.

I've never liked having minimum word counts in my contests. There have been some really good stories over the years that were less than 10 pages long. That's why I like having categories for both shorter and longer entries.

I sympathize with you about your oven. I've had my oven for a few years and I still don't like it.

*nod* I've always thought that was a great way to run the contest, and it really encourages people to submit something good instead of trying to stretch or chop down a story.

Oof, that's no fun at all. At least mine's an apartment oven, so I know I won't be stuck with it forever.
