I don't know. A friend of mine said that it was of my era to buy tight jeans. Oh well. The red, well, that's clear-cut wrong, I heard. But... but... *sigh*
At least I also bought a pair of black 505's (slightly less tight, at waist).
my pair of 501's was stolen a few years ago. i've only had one pair of jeans since, and they don't fit right, though they fit better with boots that with sneakers or shoes.
How odd. Knowing you, I could cook up all manner of ways in which they were stolen, but I wonder if it's not just a case of someone lifting the jeans from your clothes drawer or laundry pile/machine.
actually, it was pretty interesting. i left my classic mercedes 300D parked on the street in Philly for like twenty minutes one Sunday evening around 7pm while i went into my grandfather's house with the love of my life to chat with my folks. when we got back to the car, the door was punctured, a window was smashed and my suitcase was gone. all it contained was my cell phone, my address book, my checkbook, my wallet sans cash and a few pieces of clothing including my jeans. still sitting inbetween the driver's seat and the passenger seat was the ~$200 cash and the camera. the thief never used the credit cards, the checkbook or the cell phone.
for a while i advocated thieves' guilds so that, if someone broke into your car, they would do so without causing so much damage to the car and without stealing stuff that was so useful to you and so useless to them.
i don't feel that way anymore, but it's a fun fiction to subscribe to.
Leaving a comment on an old entry but oh well... I saw this update your schools thing and when I added HMHS you popped up! Amazing! This is Lisa D. from HS lunch table :P (1 year behind you).
Somehow I'm not surprised that you like Achewood too... :)

"Do not enter! Do not enter! Shit! Asshole!"
I still think about that line every so often.
