I think I know who you're talking about. In fact, I know I know who you're talking about.

And I like to think it's partly your business because he's a very very good friend of yours and you're about the situation. Obviously. Not to mention that he gets a little upset with you when you start talking to Brian.

Just to add (because apparently I didn't read it all through like I thought I had): I haven't met her, but I don't think you're the same person. Maybe sure, you see some things in yourself that remind you of what you hate about her, but that doesn't mean that you're like her.
Worst case scenario: You hate her and realize that the characteristics you have are lesser degrees and you don't want to become her.
But I honestly think you're better than that.
