Have you only just discovered it?! Jesus fucking Christ that show. Luz. Winters. Speirs. ROE. The Pacific isn't as good in my opinion, but Generation Kill runs a close second if you're looking for something to follow it up with.

I've kind of seen it mentioned in passing, but I don't think I've ever witnessed someone else watching it for the first time and gushing about how much they loved it. The only reason I watched it in the first place was because I watched the pilot of Homeland, then ended up investigating Damian Lewis and subsequently BoB. Absolutely fell in love with the whole thing, no joke, loved the hell out of it.
