When Writers Have Too Much Time On Their Hands

Writers often are smart asses. Case in point the email I wrote my friend this week. We knew we were going to hang out towards the end of the week, but hadn’t yet set up a date/time. Instead of a simple: “hey what time are we getting together?” I sent the following:

Good morning Ms. H,

Oh, those emails you and your friend sent back and forth made me chuckle. I need to do that to my friends one of these days, and see how they react! XD Thanks for giving me such an awesome idea! ^_^

Those emails are great! It makes me want to try it out with a couple of my friends, but I get the feeling that they would all just be really confused.

That exchange had me smiling as well.Some people would just be going "huh?" if you sent emails like that, so it's cool that your friend gets it.
