I've spent the last 5 years remodeling... Well, not me-- my parents... But I've had to live with it.... We're still not finished actually. Hopefully your parents will get it done in good time. There's nothing as awful as living in a house with things in boxes and random places to make room for machinery... with plaster dust getting all over everything and random holes in walls... Ug.

the extension to our garage (so it won't look cheap and garage-like), tearing down random walls inside, painting, and building a shed outside...
