Okay so

I was thinking of redyeing my hair with more purple but I usually go to the hair school to do it and they won;t give me an appointment >.< so heck now I am stranded and I don;t know what to do...
Been trying to find some special effects dye... not been able to find it online >.I could get the stuff I need at the Salon supplier there's one ( Read more... )

First let me say I don't die by hair and I know very little about how to do it. Instead I'm giving an opinion. I'd wait till someone who knows what they're doing is available. If you mess up your hair with the bleach or color, you'll be stuck with damaged hair or scalp. A three week is not a very long time, IMO, but then I'm a chicken.
(BTW - way back in the 80s I had my hair hi-lighted. The hilights were supposed to be reddish on my dark brown hair. They ended up the color of stray. The hairdresser was never able to fix them. I ended up washing in 'Nice n Easy' die into my hair. It's a die that washes out after about 30 days. I did this for a few months then gave up and ended up cutting it till it grew out. This is why, to this day, I won't mess with my hair color.)

yikes yeah I am thinking I don;t want to screw up... my mother has dyed my hair before but bleaching never... there's a few people at work that had taken classes in hairstyling but ... not sure if I can trust them with my hair.

I shopped around and the price they are asking is like half a paycheck on my current level of employment so GAH...

I have a few friends who do their hair at home and they do bleach so I'll ask for pointers...

But knowing mee I mght just chicken out of it.

BTW... I haven't said anything on my blog yet but I ordered a Resinsoul head and another full doll from Resinsoul and I liked a head more than another and they just switched the head and lowered the price because the original head had demon horns and this one doesn't :)

One month and they'll both be here.

J'aimerais ca.. le gros hic c'est que la plupart du temps les week end je travaille >.< Ca rend les deplacements a Montreal plus difficile ca.

Une amie m'a suggerer de faire la meme coiffure mais inverser... les couleurs en dessous et le niveau 3 avec mauve dedans sur le dessus et me faire une meche de rappel... mais je sais pas si le rose me ferait

Personally I always go to the hair salon when I get my hair bleached, so that's what I'd recommend. However if you don't want to do that, maybe you could try asking Fé for help?

Yeah it's kinda like that, but it SUCKS. I tried it and it doesn't really hold anything. I think I threw it away?

I usually get my special FX dye on ebay. Some colours are a pain to find though.
I get my bleaching supplies from that store. It took me a few times to get the right balance of bleach and time but it's simple enough. A friend of mine bleaches her hair with a pharmacy kit and it works well too. (Something like this http://well.ca/products/loreal-perfect-blondissima-creme_4787.html).

I have been searching on Ebay and haven't seen any special FX dye... well maybe because I wrote Special effects DOH...

what store is it? Maybe that would be easier I want the pimpin Purple color... maybe I could use a bit of pink too? not sure but I do so love how it looks on Vintage or Tacky.

meh maybe I'm too old for this anyways..LOL

OH Joy I did a search in Heal and Beauty and I get blocked by Ebay... Niiiiiice

edit: I used to get my dye at this store but they raised the shipping price a few years ago and now it's not such a good bargain so you best look around ebay in case there's a better deal out there.

I saw the shop and they don;t have any Special FX there even though they advertise it?

I got blocked saying: Your laws are different in Canada so we can't show you thing product... I went WTF?

Also I think I can find that bleach thing you were talking about... my main problem now is finding the right colors... which I am not have such a great luck with >.
