1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
Worked abroad (albeit for two days!) I actually think that's it.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Not a single one, not that I really had any strong ones - and of course I've made more!
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My uncle - not really close to me, but family.
5. What countries did you visit?
Greece.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A degree!
7. What date from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
There isn't one date in 2009 that really stands out. I'll remember my 21st.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Remaining in uni after 2nd year! Getting a week of work experience.
9. What was your biggest failure?
The lack of classes I attended, and the plans to spend the summer abroad that turned into a week!
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Only the usual bumps and bruises, and the odd cold
11. What was the best thing you bought?
hmm~ probably my lovely boots! I've been eying up a lot of things to go in ~my future apartment~ though

Rent, food shopping, clothes shopping, Greece.

Working in Greece. My 21st birthday. Deciding to go into journalism. and MUSE <3

not sure where the question is here! But I have a bit more sense of direction, even if I do still feel like I'm floundering a bit!

not really. I'm a bit miffed with friends from back home, but that's life.

"Heart's Blood" by Juliet Marillier, I seriously love it - of course that's also the one that's freshest in my mind. I loved Audrey Niffeneger's new book as well.

A cat.

This was the year I fell in love with "In Bruges", even though that was last year's film.

I was 21, and I went out the night before and then had lunch with Emma.

getting a 2:1 at the end of second year (or the impossible: a first!)

I attempted to do the flowery thing and abruptly left it to Lisa. I started wearing more black again but more stylishly than when I was 14! and I almost never wear trousers any more.

idk... I did have rather a crush on Alex Skarsgaard but I think that was down to ONTD!

idk about "stirred" but I paid attention to things about the recession and what percentage of young graduates are out of work etc etc

Aimee is the only new person I really got to know.
