Another reason I don't like Wal-Mart

As most of my friends and family know, I am a coupon-clipper. I cut them from the Sunday newspaper and print them from the internet. I will plan which coupons I will use before I go to the store. I’ll get them all organized before I get to the register. I do my best to make sure I am using the appropriate coupons for the appropriate items. I check

Of course it cost you more than $1 to make the additional trip to Kroger, but I can appreciate standing up on principle. I might have gone even further and declined to purchase anything at that point, and left them to put away the merch.

I'm actually kinda surprised that your service was that good -- I mean, they weren't rude about it and actually demonstrated some understanding of store policy. Of course it would be better if they really understood the message you were getting from this experience, but I doubt the position pays enough to get someone with that level of customer service skill. Probably even the supervisor would not grasp it.

You Go Girl!!! Just think how it would be if your ONLY place to shop was Wal-Mart. I mean -- Kroger doesn't sell everything -- as you brought out.
