gosh, you are excellent at portraying emotional closeness, your work with colours always conveys the mood of the scene in such a unique and evocative way. like here - i have yet to read caitlin's BB but the atmosphere of this piece speaks to me on a personal level, reminding me how important these two boys are to me; it feels like being suddenly plunged under water on a hot summer night - overwhelming as it washes over me but refreshing and joyful, a reminder that there is still so much good that my love for these two can give me.
and then there's a softness to this piece that envelops me and makes me feel all warm and safe, like a light jumper on that summer night :) i can almost see them breathe, i swear. such a lovely picture <333

oh man oh man I feel like you just wrote me a fic response to my art which was a companion to Caitlin's fic--we got a little train of beautiful Merthury love going on here ;D

oh that could definitely work. I've already talked with some friends before about a Merlin/Lion King crossover. Somewhere in those trees, Timon!Gwaine and Pumbaa!Leon are singing... ;)
