The Academic Year in Review
Nine months ago I went back to college after a year long hiatus. So far I think I can say I've done pretty well under difficult circumstances. There were some rocky bits of course, but it is certainly, and I say this without any doubt or hesitation, a huge impovement over my life at Macalester

I mean that, because when I was not in school I was horribly depressed and kind of nutty and bad...but the school thing made me feel like I had a purpose. Plus I discovered that I liked science. I thought that was pretty valuable.
You don't really appreciate how awesome school is until you have to go out and get a real job and realize that it's far worse than school.
And well, if you happen to find a true love along the way, that's just an added bonus.
