You know, I've been trying to update my journal, but strangely enough the past couple times I've tried to do it, I accicentally reset my computer, deleting the entry, and then the following one I managed to accidentally click the wrong "close tab" button in Opera, so I'm beginning to think it's some sort of Omen. As such, I will avoid mentioning

I like the idea of connecting emotion and magic. Certainly it is readily understandable how 'dark side' feelings like anger and hatred can release tremendous power, then charge a vicious tax later on. I'd be especially happy to see a story that involves modern-day magic without becoming 'supernatural' and unrealistic to a silly degree; in other words, events that could on some surface level be explained as plausible or nearly plausible real-world events, yet within the story are part of a system of magic
