Have you ever have this imaginary talking with your colleagues or friends where you start to imagine conflict situations? It happens to me a lot. The bad think is that those imaginary talks end up in bad "imaginary" discussions. It sounds stupid I know, but is taking a lot of my energy ( Read more... )

Yep, I have those kinds of thoughts too sometimes. It's like playing a movie in your head and you end up believing it and feeling frustrated even though that person has done nothing wrong. I believe it's up to you to bring up whatever issues you might have, in your workplace or with a certain person. Because I think that's what your mind is telling you. Good luck!

Exactly, is like playing a movie. In my case these "movies" are based on previous talks I had with my boss or my gf. Base on some answers they gave me in reality I start making this movie and as I wrote it normally end up in very bad discussions.
I had talk with my boss about it and she told me the same happens to her :)

Not very often, but it has happened. Mostly though I dwell on conversations I've had in real life and often I read things into them that probably aren't true.

Right, I need to find the way to stop those imaginary discussions because it takes a lot of energy and in some cases make me angry without a real reason.
