I'm totally supportive of getting healthy, and very pro health as a lifestyle instead of diets (bah. diets are for dumbasses) I would just caution you to not worry too much about the numbers and think more about how you look and feel. and yeah sometimes numbers can be a good way too keep track of that. but often i tell people how much i weigh and they don't believe me because they think that at 165 pounds I should look "fat".. i don't care much about losing weight because I ride my bike every day and feel healthy, and feel like I look good.. i just worry when people get too hung up on percentages and pounds. besides, unless you've changed drastically since last time i saw you, you're looking pretty decent anyway.

exactly, I'm not too terribly focused on my looks. This all really got started because I kept getting winded from everything that I did. I just want to be able to be fit. The only real way to keep track though is with the numbers, like you said. I just want to be able to see what I did wrong and what I did right in the past when I look back at this.

Thanks for the concern!
