The larger one is American Typewriter, and the teeny one is Bradley Hand ICT TT.

May I ask, how do you use the smudge tool without the different colours running all over the place/the lines dissolving like really scary candle wax? When I try to use it (no matter how slowly I go), either the opacity is too low to make a difference, or...yeah... Is my hand just too unwieldy?

Lower the opacity of your smudge tool, to about 8% and that should be enough.

I tried to download American Typewriter from fonts.com, and its like $150 dollars!! WTF? I tried dafont.com, but its not there! Where can I get it for free?

I had no idea it was that expensive, it just came with my computer. But you can get a whole load of free typewriter style fonts from dafont.com.

Very helpful tut and that icon is so gorgeous :-)
May I ask though, how did you get the word 'glossed' to tilt at that angle - whenever I try that with text, it goes all out of focus and blurry?!

You can indeed. I did it by using free transform. I think it's edit>>free tranform.

Don't adjust the size or anything, because that will make it blurry, just roate it.

Thanks - that's what I do already though and it goes blurry.... maybe I am using the wrong fonts - will experiment!
