i am way too emotional right now about my stupid laptop. it was so pretty. i am looking at fucking $250 mini-dells and it's making me want to cry. of course i am completely and totally addicted to internet access and feel like i am missing a limb at home! wah wah

robbed! when i was in ny.. they got 2 laptops, 2 flat screens and a camera. only one of us had insurance and i dont think its gonna cover the others. eff. get renter's insurance, if you dont have it!

Wow, that does suck. In regards to attitude, the trick is maybe that it could always be worse? A friend of mine here got robbed a while ago and they stole, among other things, his heater when it was forty below and his cabin froze up and ruined a lot of what didn't get stolen. He earned my got-robbed-hero title when he told me the next day with no hint of sarcasm "Well at least they were nice enough to leave my goose-down coat so I didn't freeze to death"
