I really liked how you wove in Metamorphoses in there and had Bennet talking about King Midas and Bacchus. I also really liked how caring and forgiving Sandra is in this fic.

"I spray him, you shock him, then Noah shoots him in the back of the head."
This totally reminds me of when Sandra was all badass and like "I know how to make fake IDs", lol.

And I suppose I'll have to wait until after my trip to read the dark part?

thanks! i heart mythology :) i also heart sandra, especially badass sandra. this was my first try writing sandra, actually, so i'm glad she came across how i wanted her to.

I forget, in this story does Sylar have the shapeshifting ability? 'Cause I felt awful tense reading that last scene with Bennet ... Just the way he phrased his setences, the reading (who else in the Heroes universe reads for any other purpose than to show off Chandra's picture on the back jacket flap? hee) ... or maybe I'm just in a weird mood.

Either way, what a great, tense, awesome build-up to whatever's gonna happen here!

yeah, no, sylar does not shape shift here :) so no bennet!sylar. just bennet. oh, crap, it was the eyebrow thing, wasn't it? my bad. and dude, bennet does crossword puzzles in canon, i just made a small jump to ovid to suit my own nefarious allusory purposes. but i should have put chandra's face on the cover of the metamorphoses to interest elle a bit more, you are correct :D

thanks! hopefully gonna knock out the last part soon. (still planning to send along the topher fic, but the thing kind of took of on me so it's taking longer, not to mention with the vm_redux launch getting a bit more traffic than we expected...excuses, excuses, i'll get it to you when i can tame it a bit more.)
