Character Pings
I mostly just stole formatting tips from Raven. Also I'm terrible at succinct categories.
Current characters: Capell (Infinite Undiscovery), David Nassau (Last Remnant), Guy Cecil (Tales of the Abyss)
Past characters: Ladd Russo (Baccano!), Secret (Young Justice), Arachne (Soul Eater), Charis (Kastor Chronicles), Yukiko Amagi (Persona 4), Yeager (Tales of Vesperia), Jansen Friedh (Lost Odyssey), Olive Snook (Pushing Daisies)

Guys out numbering my girls almost double, which honestly makes me a little 8| because there are a lot of rad female characters out there, and I am sure I would enjoy playing them! Have I mentioned how weird I feel not having any in my lineup at the moment?

MOSTLY VIDEO GAMES because that's how I spend a majority of my time. I also feel like I bond better, with video game characters -- I am an obsessive leveler and don't like to finish out a game until I have done all the side quests, beaten all the optional bosses, and licked every corner of the map in every area. I read the in-game synopsis and the beastiary and whatever else they got. This means, usually, by the time I am done with a game, I have spent well over 150 hours staring at these characters, listening to their voices, etc. I-I get attached. Also I feel more confident that I know something about them.
Because of this, I feel like I have a lot more variety in my video game characters than I could have -- I'm spending those 150 hours with the entire party, after all, so even if somebody isn't strictly my type (David, Yukiko) I still feel confident enough to try and swing something.
Camper: Capell, David, Guy, Yukiko, Secret, Charis (and I apped Jansen as a camper and then it turned out he was a counselor OOPS ;;)
Counselor: Ladd, Yeager, Arachne, Olive
I'm not really sure how to count Jansen there. I mean, clearly I was assuming he was a camper but ~subconciously~ I must have clearly known. I feel like he fits into the pattern I have with my counselors: sort of loud and obtrusive and in your way and took a lot of energy for me to play.
The exception to that is Arachne, obviously, which might have had sometime to do with why I played her once, cried in my soul, and dropped her nearly immediately :(b

Smarter Than They Act, But Flailing is a Defense Mechanism: Capell, Secret, Olive
Yes, I know Yeager and David are on that list twice. Which sort of effectively empties out the first category and should give you another hint as to why I couldn't hold on to Arachne.

Is Very Friendly, but Might Secretly Snap and Kill You and Everyone You Love: Capell, Secret, Guy
Will Fight if they Must: David, Jansen, Yukiko, Charis
No! Fighting Bad! Bad!: Olive
I feel like pointing out that 2/3 of the second category (are/)were my longest-held characters, and the remaining third I've only had for seven months but am still in love with forever. :x
Neutral Good: David, Yukiko, Olive, Charis
Chaotic Good: Secret, Capell, Guy
Chaotic Neutral: Yeager, Jansen
Neutral Evil: Arachne
Chaotic Evil: Ladd
Not on this list: Lawful Good, Lawful Neutral, True Neutral, Lawful Evil. So mainly there is nothing lawful about my lineup.
Failure at Normal Human Interaction: Capell, Secret, Ladd, Yeager
This category is kind of a gimme but:
Is a Ray of Sunshine but has an Emo Past: Capell, Guy, Secret, David, Yeager, Charis
Past Might Have Been Emo but Fuck if They Care: Ladd, Arachne, Yeager.
You could probably add Yukiko and Olive to the first list, for certain mundane real-world type of emo pasts. Yeager gets to be on both lists because he's special like that.
Is Disabled: Ladd, Charis
And these last two, just for amusement's sake:
Somebody Once Said They Weren't My Type: David, Charis, Arachne, Yukiko
Apped with Vector then played together for like three threads before one or another of us dropped: Ladd, Arachne, David, Yeager
