God, the dialogue in this episode was so off. I mean, I know we were supposed to buy BUT IT'S THE RESIDUE OF DESTINY, but the segues were be so awkward.
"Hi, my name is Desmond." "DO YOU BELIEVE IN TRUE LOVE. I DO. I SAW THIS GIRL. CHOCOLATE. SO HOT. HERE ARE SOME QUANTUM THEORY NOTES IN MY DREAM JOURNAL."
ELOISE. HBIC. I don't even know why anyone else was in this episode. I WAS LIKE MOVE ASIDE WHOEVER YOU ARE WHITMARE WHATEVER, LET THE WHITE BOUFFANT THROUGH. THIS QUEEN DON'T NEED A CROWN.
This is all I have to say about the meeting with Penneh:
I totally agree about the dialogue, it was so weird! Although while writing the recap I started to think that perhaps the way these ~*love*~ feelings came through in the Sideways World, it kind of worked with friends too, like you felt comfortable with them immediately. But then I thought probably not haha I think Darlton just had to cram too much into 42 minutes!!

I have to admit though when I rewatched it this morning whilst writing my recap notes I rewound the part in the MRI machine and the part when she laughs all cute and turns around to look at him in the stadium like way too many times.
THE BROOCH THING!!!! HOLY SHIT! I FAIL AT NOTICING THINGS.
Despite the fact that the entire episode was like "THE ULTIMATE THEME OF THE SHOW! LET ME CLUB OVER THE HEAD WITH THIS DELICIOUS HAM OF IT" I still loved it because, well, Desmond. <3
