Lost & Bob Dylan

I wrote this little essay on the Lost Finale - back in October Damon said if he had to pick one song that captured the mood of the sixth season, it would be the Bob Dylan song "Visions of Johanna." I always wondered what he meant by that

You know, I don't think some of these folks would have been happy unless the finale had been shirtless Josh Holloway reading off a list of answers to "Lost's Top Mysteries!" Sheesh. If all you care about is answers to every single piddly question, you missed the point of the show.

Plus, my question was answered.

Me: "Hey Lost, are you the raddest show ever or what?"

Lost: "Yep."

Satisfied customer!

Haha why thank you! It's nice to be able to write "for realsies" once in a while and not always resort to my LOLs and OMGs.

I know, finales never make everyone happy, you can only hope most of the people got what you were trying to do!

I was afraid something crazy like that was going to happen, but I'd like to think he got off that plane and start his own line of Cosmentics.

LOL I keep seeing people say stuff like that but he'd been off island loads of times to see baby Locke, to recruit Juliet, etc.

Although I'm disappointed his hair didn't go silver when they lifted off the Island XD

LOL I know, I thought of that too, but really he hasn't lived anywhere but the island for so long I'm sure it would be hilarious seeing him like, trying to use an ATM card, or checking his email.

You know what, I'm ok. In fact, I think I loved the ending. the show has always been about the characters, and while I loved the mythology, it ended the way it was supposed to.

And all those pesky WHAT IS THE ISLAND questions will be (hopefully) answered for all us nerds on podcasts, companion books, and the s6 dvd which better be FULL of crazy epic commentary.

Yeah the more I think about that ending the more I love it, and I can't wait to watch the whole thing again knowing the ending. I was afraid I'd feel all empty and sad after it was over, but Lost has left me satisfied and smiling.

I'm kind of sad Darlton said they'd be going into radio silence for a while after the finale, I hope it's not like...a year haha.

I kinda get Darlton going into hiding though. The End needs to sink in a bit. But they better be doing mad amounts of commentary for the DVD. >:|
