So I'm going to a week-long Character Design art camp at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design over the summer and trying to orchestrate how it's going to be paid for is just maddening, sometimes. I hate having to try and get my two sets of parents to stop bitching about each other long enough to work something out. Can't we all be adults

Well, my birthday's in October, so you've got a good month on me. But yeah, it was especially bad when everyone else was driving and I still had to bum rides with my brother. Wait, what am I saying... I still have to bum rides.

Yeah. I pretty much spend half my time dying to get out of this place and planning my escape, and the other half thinking I'm crazy for imagining that I'm ready for, well, life.

Excellent, I feel much better now. But I suppose bumming rides off your brother is still infinitely preferrable to bumming rides off your mom, huh? I wonder where I can get me an older sibling for a decent price... K-mart, maybe?

I think I'm just gonna get out of here first, then worry about the crazy part once I'm away. At least then you get out of the house, even if only for a couple weeks, heh. What're you thinking on doing after graduation?

Oh, I have to bum rides off the madre sometimes too. Like when James is too drunk/stoned/grouchy to drive me anywhere. Also, being around him can get slightly boring -- not that he only talks about one thing; he has at least a thousand topics of conversation; the problem is, they all involve cars. Still, he has an excellent music selection, and I'll miss him when he's gone. Today's actually the last day I'll be living with him... oh that's really sad.

Getting out of here is definitely the important part. I don't think I'm actually gonna wait until graduation to try it. So after you 've escaped, where do you plan on going?
