What a nice gift you've given me! This is wonderful - you captured the prompt perfectly!! Absolutely the right atmosphere at the beginning, and I loved how it shifted into Cal's "education" at the pub. And I laughed out loud at the lines, "You know, if you showed up on my doorstep wearing a uniform, I'd make you a very happy man" followed by "As long as it's not a maid uniform again. That really chafed." Hilarious! Loved Gillian telling Cal that she "rather liked the way he turned out." I've only had one other person write a story "for me," so this was special. Thank you. :)
