This has random notes about... well, mainly concerning Ash, but also a few things about the series itself, like important characters, races, terms, etc. It's important to mention that nothing under this cut is speculation: This is strictly canon. THERE ARE SPOILERS HERE, TOO.
Important People:
Atlantean Gods
Apollymi- Atlantean goddess of death, war, and destruction. Also known as the Great Destroyer. Acheron's true mother.
Archon- Atlantean god, Acheron's true father.
Epithymia- Atlanean goddess of wealth and desire. Acheron's aunt. Her touch cursed Acheron to be unnaturally desirable to all who saw him.
Katra Agrotera- Acheron and Artemis's daughter.
Apostolos- The son of Apollymi and Archon. Most people don't know that Apostolos is Acheron.
Greek Gods
Apollo- Greek god of the sun. Artemis' younger twin brother. Creator of the Apollites.
Artemis- Greek goddess of the hunt and the moon. Apollo's older twin sister. Creator and employer of the Dark Hunters.
Atropos, Lachesis, and Clotho- The Fates. Children of Archon of the Atlantean pantheon and Themis of the Greek pantheon. Acheron's half sisters. When Acheron was born, they were still new to their powers, and they unknowingly cursed him to being the Final Fate, saying he would be the death of them all.
Dark Hunters
Alexion- Formerly Ias of Groesia, he was a Dark Hunter who died when his beloved didn't love him back and refused to restore his soul. Acheron secretly resurrected him with his own blood, and gave him the title of "Alexion". He now works for Acheron.
Nick Gautier- Formerly a Squire, he was accidentally cursed by Acheron to kill himself because he slept with Simi (he didn't know her connection to Acheron). After he found his mother brutally murdered, he shot himself in the head to force Artemis's hand into making him a Dark Hunter. He is half Malachite demon, although he didn't find out until well after his human death. Formerly Acheron's best human friend, he blames the Atlantean god for his mother's death.
Ravyn Kontis- Pardalia (leopard) Arcadian Dark Hunter/Were-Hunter.
Wulf Trygvasson- Viking warrior. The only Dark Hunter never granted an Act of Vengeance because he was tricked into becoming a Dark Hunter. He has a curse of amnesia placed on him where no human or animal can remember him five minutes after he leaves them, except for someone from his bloodline. He is married to a half-Apollite.
Daimons
Stryker- Apollo's son, the adopted son of Apollymi, and a demigod. The leader of the Daimons. Generally not a nice guy, but he has a surprisingly strong moral code. He's odds with a lot of people, including Acheron, Apollo, Artemis, Apollymi, and Nick.
Urian- Stryker's son. Stryker killed Urian for Apollymi's favour, and Acheron resurrected him. Urian works for Acheron, usually spying on the Daimons and relaying important information.
Demons
Simi/Xiamara- Charonte demon, Xiamara's youngest daughter, named after her. Bound to Acheron, although he treats her more like a daughter. Simi loves anything covered in barbeque sauce, QVC, and Acheron's credit card.
Xedrix- Charonte demon, Xiamara's son.
Xiamara- Charonte demon, Apollymi's truest friend. Died when trying to protect Acheron.
Xirena- Charonte demon, Xiamara's older daughter. Bound to Alexion.
Savitar- Chthonian, a friend of Acheron. He deliberately turned a blind eye to Apollymi's destruction of the Atlantean pantheon. He is in charge of the Were-Hunters, and is ruler of the Omegrion.
Former Dark Hunters
Kyrian Hunter- aka Kyrian of Thrace. Former Greek prince. Was tortured and crucified by a Roman named Valerius in his human life. Was made immortal by Acheron.
Talon Runningwolf- aka Speirr of the Morrigantes. He was made immortal by his patron goddess, the Morrigan, after he left Artemis's employment. Despite no longer being a Dark Hunter, he still keeps up with his duties. He is the only one allowed to call Ash "T-Rex".
Valerius Magnus- Former Roman general. He is the grandson of the same Valerius who tortured and crucified Kyrian of Thrace. Was gifted with godhood by Zarek's wife at his wedding so he could be on equal footing with Zarek.
Zarek of Moesia- Psychotic Greco-Roman former slave/younger half-brother to Valerius (the Dark Hunter). He was banished to Alaska for nine hundred years, it's rumored that it was for burning down a village under his care. Was gifted with godhood after he married a justice nymph.
Humans
Aara- Queen of Didymos, Acheron's human mother.
Icarion- King of Didymos, Acheron's human father.
Ryssa- Princess of Didymos, Acheron's older human sister. The only human in Acheron's mortal life to resist the curse of desire placed on him and treat him like a normal person.
Styxx- Prince of Didymos, Acheron's younger human twin brother. As long as Ash lives, so does he. It took eleven thousand years and Acheron's human memories being forced on him to realize he mistreated Acheron badly.
Apollodorus- Ryssa and Apollo's son, and Acheron's nephew.
Cherise Gautier- Nick's mother. She was constantly trying to get Acheron to eat something. She worked at Sanctuary, a bar filled with supernatural creatures, but never realised that there was anything out of the ordinary there. Just about everyone who knew her liked her.
Were-Hunters
Aimée Peltier- Ursulan (bear) Arcardian Were-Hunter Sentinel, although she was born Katagaria and converted during puberty. No one knows she's Arcadian except Fang. She's in love with Fang. Her familiy runs Sanctuary, a neutral territory/bar for supernaturals.
Devereaux "Dev" Peltier- Ursulan (bear) Arcadian Were-Hunter, although he was born Katagaria and converted during puberty. No one knows he's Arcadian outside of his family. His family runs Sanctuary, a neutral territory/bar for supernaturals. He is one of a set of quadruplets. He has the bow-and-arrow tattoo of a Dark Hunter because he thinks it's funny, but is not a Dark Hunter.
Fang Kattalakis- Lykos (wolf) Katagaria Were-Hunter. Brother of Fury and Vane. Loves to crack bad jokes and is the undisputed black sheep of the family. He's in love with Aimée.
Fury Kattalakis- Lykos (wolf) Katagaria Were-Hunter, although he was born Arcadian and converted during puberty. Brother of Fang and Vane. He is a Regis on the Omegrion, the Were-Hunter ruling council, as the Katagaria Lykos representative.
Vane Kattalakis- Lykos (wolf) Arcadian Were-Hunter Sentinel, although he was born Katagaria and converted during puberty. Brother of Fang and Fury. He is a Regis on the Omegrion, the Were-Hunter ruling council, as the Arcadian Lykos representative.
Wren Tigarian- Tigard (tiger/snow leopard hybrid mix) Katagaria Were-Hunter. He is technically a Regis on the Omegrion as the Katagaria Niphetos Pardalia (snow leopard) representative, but never bothers to claim the status.
Different Races:
Apollites- Not a diet fruit drink. A race of people Apollo created to be superior to humans, intending to use them to overthrow Zeus and become the most powerful god on Olympus. When a small group of them killed his lover, Ryssa, he cursed them all in a rage--they would now bear fangs (making them animalistic because that's how they'd made their crime look), drink each other's blood only for sustenance, and die at the same age of the lover that had been killed-27 years. This was particularly stupid because he neglected to remember that one of the Apollite bloodlines is connected to his own existence--if they die out, so does he, and so goes the sun.
Chthonians- God-killers, they are in charge of making sure that the gods don't kill each other and upset the balance of the universe. They are usually born as humans.
Dark Hunters- Formerly human (or on rare occasion, Apollite or Were-Hunter), when their lives ended in various horrible ways, their souls cried out for vengeance. Artemis hears their cries, and offers them a job in return for a chance to get their vengeance. Upon accepting, they trade their souls to Artemis and become immortal warriors to fight against the Daimons. Very, very well paid immortal warriors.
Daimons- Apollymi took pity on the Apollites and taught them that the way to live beyond their cursed fate. In order to survive, they must kill a human by draining their blood and take their soul. Each soul can sustain them for a time. A strong-willed soul lasts longer. Pregnant women are particularly tasty targets. A Were-Hunter's soul will give a Daimon the were's powers.
Dream-Hunters- Oneroi, Greek dream gods that were supposed to have been cursed to feel nothing except for pain after a few of their number played a prank on Zeus. The curse seems to be breaking, however. The Dream-Hunters often help the Dark-Hunters heal at night, and get over the worst of their nightmares about their human lives--and untimely deaths.
There's another sub-sect of Dream Hunters known as Skoti. Dream Hunters who have become addicted to the emotions they can feel in people's dreams, they prey on mankind in an attempt to continue to experience those emotions.
Squire- Regular humans who take care of the Dark Hunters during the daytime and make existence a little easier for them during their downtime. They are paid very well for it.
Were-Hunters- Created by a king who didn't want his half-Apollite sons to die an early death, he combined Apollites and animals together, and managed to create this long-lived, highly magical race of shapeshifters. They have two branches--the Arcadians (who are humans that turn into animals) and Katagaria (who are animals that turn into humans). The two groups despise each other and constantly war with themselves. They generally leave Apollites and Daimons alone, because the races are related, but some Were-Hunters aren't worried about the close genetic connection.

- Acheron tried to gouge out his eyes three times before he was seventeen in an attempt to remove them so that they would no longer displease people. They grew back each time.
- Acheron prefers to wear sunglasses to hide his eyes.
- Acheron dislikes apples and chocolate.
- Acheron dislikes eating in general, after having spent his human lifetime alternating between being starved and being force-fed.
- Acheron has met Julius Caesar and Alexander the Great. He has debated philosophy with Confucius, had dinner with Kublai Khan, attended a feast with Buddha, and eaten dinner with King Arthur. He also listened to speeches by Jesus and Gandhi, but didn't feel worthy to meet or talk to them.
- Acheron is one of the only Dark Hunters who looks young enough to still get carded at bars.

- Acheron has a custom-built Hayabusa-Turbo motorcycle.

- Acheron enjoys video games, manga, and American television. He has an XBox 360, he has read Priest, Trinity Blood, and Hellsing, and he has watched Heros.
- As a god, drugs and alcohol have no effect on Acheron. He was not happy when he first realised this.
- ...However, a couple of bottles of Sprite will get him completely shit-faced. (*Note: At the point I'm taking him from, he is unaware of this!)
- To address the age-old question of "Boxers or briefs?", the answer is "Neither." Acheron goes commando.
