So i just laid the smack down on my english final. That means i'm pretty much done with my first year of college. That means no more being 3 hours away from Karen, and no more living in this craphole of a room, and 3 months of it being "the good ol' days" again. To that i say heck yes

its funny how you write your ljs in proper letters. i guess? as in capitalizing and whatnot. its just weird seeing my name with a capital "k"

Welcome home Derek (soon). And I hope that this summer is both good old days but also good new days :-)

A side comment - ok, I know I'm ancient, do msybe that's my problem, but I saw the Format at Java Jazz last year with Canvas Waiting, the Red Airplanes, and maybe some other band. I can't explain their huge popularity.

Canvas and Red Airplanes blew the Format away. The Format just blew :-)

But I know a lot of people like them.

(oh, and did you know that they toured with Jimmy Eat World? I know, because their singer mentioned it like every 3 seconds :-)

Ha yeah, i know what you mean about the Format. I didn't like them when i saw them at that show either. But they grew on me like whoa this year. I remember you were excited when they played that Otis Redding cover though, haha.
