I'm trying to uses the brush but it's not coming up very clear (actually I can hardy see it) I've got it in a new layer 100% opacity. It's probably me, I'm new at icon making & I haven't really used brushes before.

Try putting the brush a few times to get a clearer effect, although the only thing the brush is supposed to do is to obscure the edges of the pictures.

Thanks for your help ^, I duplicated the brush layer a few times & it came out much clearer. Thanks for this tutorial, its brilliant. The icon I made is the one I'm using now and I love it!
