Just now while revising my essay on Persians by Aeschylus, I was trying to think of a way to describe the time before Athens was established in which the Greeks considered a lot of their myths and stuff to have taken place. I tried a whole bunch of things, but the only one I ended up liking very much went something like this:

Also, does that count as an Oxford exclamation mark?

Yeah, I have to say depends on the assessor. Of course the professor has to know it's a Xena reference to fail you on it. I know I passed my exam were I used a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy reference. But in my defence he'd used names straight out of the Guide in the question, so I felt justified.

My brain is tempted to call the Pre-Athens Era "The Age of Heroes", but I dunno if that's mentioned in a game or something or if it's legit.

You're one up on a dude I know in high school, who straight-up did his AP English essay on HGTTG. He was marked down 'cause it wasn't OMG SRS LITERARY CANONZ but it still passed.
