[ For a good long minute there is nothing but bad reception coming from this end of the line. The line goes on and on, with sounds of clicking and clacking. As the moment passes the clicking becomes sounds of tapping as hands over a keyboard, and then adjusting and placing other forms of equipment surrounding a desk.
Initially there is a sound that sounds very much like a voice on the other end, speaking into the microphone, but it comes out as garbled and incoherent. After a few test broadcastings, there finally comes the sound of a woman’s voice. ]
