Fascinating.

Somewhat.

My guess is that either we're in a bubble because that's some advance kind of technology that I've never even heard of, or... we're someplace else entirely.

That's a pretty fair assessment. That brings up a lot more questions than answers. I know a few theoretical technological inventions and a few magical enchantments that could create such a bubble, but...

well...

I wouldn't be above suggesting that this may be of mystical nature, except that Kang mentioned that he sensed nothing of the sort. Which leads me to believe that it's got to be technological. I said it before, but it was like walking right into a television set and someone just... turned it off. Then we were elsewhere.

No one's leaving the island, apparently.

Good to hear that you're all okay.

You ended up on the other side of the island?

We did. That's where we went. I don't quite understand it, myself. I've never seen or felt anything like that before.

What did you feel?

Tingly, I guess? Like there were bugs crawling all over my skin for a moment. It was like being sucked right into a television set just before it's about to turn off, then everything went white. My head started to hurt with this really bad migraine, too. I thought for sure that something hit me really hard in the head and I was having a concussion.
Then just like that, when things weren't white anymore, we were near Ellis Island.

I'm glad you all are okay.

I think a lot of us are having trouble grasping exactly what happened.

Well, we're in one piece. I'm surprised that we didn't leave any body parts behind after that shift. That's the only way I can put it, anyway. Like in the sci-fi flicks.

Sometimes I feel the only way this is going to make sense is if I'm under some kind of influence. And I don't even drink. But I'm seriously starting to consider it at this point.

True, mentally being okay is another matter entirely. A little rest wouldn't hurt.

I'm not sure I'd recommend that, but I can understand the sentiment. It certainly doesn't make any sense right now.

Time for a well-deserved break for a few days, that's for sure. I'm so tired and the feeling of the shift was just... it was a strange feeling.

It really is just a sentiment. Like I said, I'm not a drinker. Not to mention I believe I need to be lucid now more than ever.

In the words of the great bard..."Woah."

Get some sleep Aya, we've all just been through a lot. Bashing our heads against the wall isn't going to help, so we should give ourselves time to process.

Of course, once you do I'm going to harass you for every detail of whatever the hell just happened to you. I can promise by the end of the week you're going to want to hit me, so enjoy your freedom while it lasts.

Trust me, I think I'm going to sleep myself into a self-induced coma for a week after everything that's gone on.

Don't worry, though. We'll have more to report on the information front soon enough. Video documentation, even. Seeing is going to be believing for this one.
