Abilities, Weaknesses, and Power Limitation Suggestions;
> Powers: Mitochondria are recognized as the “power house” of our cellular systems, as they generate most of the cell’s source for chemical energy. Additionally, mitochondria also supplies cellular energy, and are included in other processes such as cellular differentiation, cell death, signaling, and control the cell cycle and growth. It is also said that the mitochondria also plays a role in the aging process; Aya Brea is living proof of that, pushing her forties and yet retaining the physical appearance of a young woman in her twenties. In the Parasite Eve universe, mitochondria are sentient organisms living inside of the human body, much like parasites, and Aya is considered the “natural enemy” to these parasites. The cells in her body have the ability to “communicate” as well as manipulate the cellular structure of other organisms. Most of Aya’s powers had evolved in some ways since her the New York Blockade Incident, but changed in others. For instance, she no longer has the ability to change her entire form into the mitochondrial being.

> Ageless: Aya’s cells themselves also have a special type of genetic code. Some sketchy people from an unknown shadow government had used them before to create monsters and mutations, which is not limited to shaping human body. Her cells, if harnessed scientifically and in the wrong hands, could result in a force-mutation of living things, reshaping and deforming them from their previous, natural state.

> Parasite Energies: All of Aya’s Parasite Energies can evolve to no higher than Level 3. Given that she had lost her powers for a certain period of time due to Project Daisychain’s power inhibitors (and by the nature in which Sacrosanct’s limits one’s special powers), Aya’s powers will be limited to their Level 1 strength. Which is more than what she had for the past two years.
Pyrokinesis: Self-explanatory, and also Aya’s main power. She can activate the mitochondria in her body to emit a flash wave of heat. Targets will sustain severe burn degrees.

Combustion: Adjacent targets will burst into flames.

Inferno: A radioactive-degree of nuclear fission is released, resulting in a devastating fire attack to those around Aya.

Healing: Rapid cellular regeneration also comes with the whole mitochondrial package. This ability is unfortunately limited to only her own body, as she does not possess the power to control the mitochondria of others to the point where she could manipulate them into healing their host. Although she can heal her own injuries, she can’t do much in the ways of if another person is injured.

Metabolism: Increases Aya’s immune system, which basically makes her resistant to poison and whatnot. It isn’t all that reliable. Like with her healing abilities, she can fix herself if she is ever poisoned, but she is unable to use this ability to remedy other people.

Lifedrain: Borrows and controls the mitochondria of nearby organisms, using them to increase Aya’s own rate of healing.

Necrosis: Targets will suffer an electrical charge that necrotizes the epidermis. It can also induce sickness.

Plasma: Stuns nearby targets with a powerful discharge of mitochondria.

Apobiosis: A powerful electrical pulse paralyzes any targets within the vicinity, culminating to cell death of the victims.

Antibody: Drawing on the earth’s magnetic field, this ability forms a protective shield around Aya, allowing her to withstand physical blows.

Energyshot: Aya’s mitochondria draws the magnetic field to increase bullet velocity when firing her guns.

Energyball: Thermal energy can gather and form a magnetic field that sustains a “superconducting orb” in order to defend Aya, as well as attack those that come close to her.
> Technology: While she does not seem to be the type, Aya has some experience with computers with some amateur knowledge in hacking (i.e. being able to hack into the Neo Ark database even after their terminal had been stricken with a worm virus).

> Combat: While her powers are valuable in many ways, Aya is an experienced combatant; her area of expertise lies heavily on her marksmanship. She is highly trained and skilled in firearms, with an extensive history of combat training with both the military and police force. It’s also stated that she went to sniper school, where she was instructed by a woman named Gabrielle Monsigny. Quick to act and resourceful, Aya herself is what most would consider an effective field agent.

> Melee: Where close-quarters combat are concerned, Aya makes use of the tonfa baton, as well as other attachments such as a bayonet so she does not always have to rely on long-distance weapons. Her gun smarts is almost unparalleled among those she’s worked with in the past.

Appearance;

Being of Asian and Caucasian descent, Aya bears features of both her Japanese mother and her American father, with her narrow eyes and facial structure in contrast to her blue eyes and platinum blonde hair. Seeing that her traits display a genetic improbability, she pretty much falls into the But Not Too Foreign trope.

While she isn’t above formal wear when the occasion is deemed appropriate, Aya has a casual, modest manner of attire. One could describe her style as being cool, fashionable, though simple.

Aya is attractive, though she never uses her sexuality to an advantage (ever the Deadpan Snarker, she expresses her cocky personality when dealing with people instead). She is lithe in figure, but not frail; she is fairly agile, and while she’s not exactly super strong enough to lift monoliths, she is by no means physically weak, either.

Another noteworthy trait is that Aya looks nowhere near her actual age. While she is physically pushing her forties, she forever appears significantly younger due to the day her mitochondria awakened at twenty-five. She looks as though she has not aged a day since, and could very well possibly be considered ageless due to her advanced biology.
