You don't usually see rainbows unless it's rained, but I can live with skipping the thunder and Larxene lightning. Still, I can't help but... laugh. What an interesting reaction. I admit, I'd expect strobe lights over this.
[The week had been an... interesting one. The marker fiasco, Roxas leaving, Sora staying the night; it was all a bit of a blur, but Axel blamed it on the lack of sleep and the ridiculousness of it all.
The knock at the door came as somewhat of a surprise. Axel craned his neck to peer back at the door from his perch, sat in the desk chair with his boots kicked up on the desk. Brows furrowed curiously, warily, and he flexed his fingers, twisting his body around just slightly to get a better view of the door.
Another flex of his fingers and he summoned his chakrams in a small burst of flame, gripping the crossbars lightly.]
[Long fingers gripped tighter as the door opened, all senses on alert despite his relaxed position, stretched out and in no position to fight. Fortunately, it was only Roxas, and Axel sent his weapons away with another small burst of flame, tipping his chair back a little more on its hind legs.]
Actually, I wasn't expecting anyone.
[He shrugged, not sure what to say. Not sure where they stood.]
