so, phil confessed to me this morning that he "almost" cheated on me (whatever that means) with his best friend, who is, of course, 5 foot 9, a size 4, and blonde. i asked him if he had feelings for her, and he said yes, so i told him to go for it

Remember that I was once very much in love with you. Although I now realize that the idea of us being together is stupider than wiping one's ass before taking a shit, don't think that some dude falling for you in a sincere, genuine, non-obsessive, non-impartial manner isn't possible.
