Ron has spent the majority of the previous day patrolling the grounds and then he'd gone back to the Hospital Wing to find Hermione there with Rose and that's where he'd spent the rest of the evening and even the night.
He had been wanting to tell Harry his theory ever since his best friend had arrived, but as they'd both been busy patrolling various areas of the castle, he hadn't gotten the chance yet. So when Harry walked into the Hospital Wing just as Ron was walking towards the doors, Hermione and Rose still asleep, he didn't waste a moment in grabbing Harry's arm and pulling him back into the hall, "It's good to see you, Mate."
"Good to see you too," Harry said as soon as he had closed the door behind them and looking at Ron with a small smile. Looking once more around them, he started to lead the way down the corridor into the direction of the kitchen. He could do with a strong coffee now, and he knew that was one of the only places where no one was going to disturb them right now, or at least he hoped so.
"Did you manage to get some sleep?" he asked in concern. These were going to be tiring days for all of them, but especially for Hermione and Ron. It was after all their son that had been taken.
Ron didn't ask any questions as he followed Harry, knowing exactly where they were going; they'd been friends long enough that there didn't need to be questions sometimes. "I got some." He ran a hand through his messy red hair as they walked, turning down a staircase, "After Rose fell asleep I was comforting Hermione for awhile." He himself had cried and it was evident by the redness of his eyes, which he wasn't trying to hide; Harry was his best friend and now family after all.
Harry wasn't going to ask if Ron and Hermione needed anything, they knew that they could come to him for whatever it was. "We'll get him back in one piece, I promise," Harry said firmly, reaching out to give Ron's shoulder a small squeeze and then stopping in his tracks soon as they stood in front of the statue. Tickling the pear he waited for the way to clear and headed straight down for kitchen.
He smiled as he saw a mug of coffee standing already on the large table in the middle of the kitchen, taking it between his two hands and taking a large sip from it. "We've got to do something.. this can't continue like this," he said as soon as he had swallowed, leaning against one of the kitchen counters with a heavy sigh.
