After talking with corey mixster in marketing yesterday about jazz music i got interested in it again, ive always liekd it but didnt ever really listen to it. Its so goood its very ambient and i could fall asleep to this every night. Im getting away from harder stuff right now and listening to more anathallo, death cab for cutie, elliott smith, etc ( Read more... )

You forgot Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, a greaaat swing band. I have been going in and out of swing music kicks since summer. I had no idea Corey listened to or even remotely liked jazz or swing.

His Album Head Hunters is probably my favorite, you ought to give "Watermelon Man" off of it a listen.

The Living End? wow. I haven't listened to them in years. I first saw them live at a Green Day concert in like 8th grade. I got their CD there. They are so good and were very impressive. I'll have to bust it out again. I remember the bass player had a stand up bass. I want a stand up bass!
