I've kept mostly quiet about US politics here. Mostly because I just don't feel like fighting with anybody. But there's one thing I appreciate about this coming election: how excited and involved the kids are this time.

I'm unapologetic, bleeding heart, raving progressive. :) And mostly, I'm feminist. Women's rights are front and center for me. With the environment a close second.

I just have so much that I *would* be posting about this election, but I just don't have the energy. I know my flist is rather diverse, and for the most part I'm okay with debate, but tempers are so high everywhere. I don't trust that it wouldn't come to blows.

(and I'll email you my number. The next few days are a bit crazy for me, but if you want to talk early next week, that would be ueber groovy. :))
