Yesterday, I was driving my friend around so i let her listen to the new bright eyes, because she doesn't even know who bright eyes is. Then today when i went to pick her up from the gym, she told that she had heard bright eyes on KROQ. OBVIOUSLY i was like NO WAY ( Read more... )

can you imagine sitting around a year or two ago and saying "yeah, pretty soon, interpol, mars volta, arcade fire, and bright eyes will dominate kroq." this is the station that jammed with kid rock not 2 years ago. (i have to confess that i caught wind of arcade fire BARELY before they became the spokesmen for the "indie movement" so i'm no one to talk about them.)

gotta say that i like that queens of the stone age song ok as well.

KROQ is the devil. It destorys good music and lowers its value. People just start listening to it, because "its cool".Especially right now, since "indie" is so effin trendy. I swear if anything thinks Digital and I'm awake, are his first CDs i think i might freak out.

but i won't hate kroq. dislike, maybe, but ive found good bands there before i knew where else to find bands.

kroq is finally playing some good music but only some and it still is annoying cause gay people listen to that station and yeah im not really one to care but that annoys me cause yeah

People are going to like conor because its "trendy"
that depresses me.

can you imagine how hard IF they play him all the time, to get tickets for his shows? Even now they are really hard and sell out so fast. and what IF venues raise prices for his shows, plus ticketraper, it will be ridiculous.
