It took a little while, but I've found a way to provide for Hotaru and I while we're in this city. It's a small studio but I dont think I'll need much more space. It will need a bit of cleaning and sprucing up though ( Read more... )

You were attacked by that hat too! I had the same thing happen, and the same card thing!

Oh! I wonder if it must be part of another curse then. Though, this one doesn't seem to do much. Has anything else happened to you since then?

Not that I can think of. I don't feel any weird impulses...though, if this is like the other curses, I guess I wouldn't notice even if their were.

I've been reading over the Network, but it seems the only thing strange is that more people are recieving similar messages.

Surely someone must have a hint about what they must mean.

I am Kaioh Michiru. It's a pleasure to meet you.

What sort of musical equipment are you looking for? I have some that I wouldn't mind putting on temporary loan.

I'm thankful for your generosity. What I really need are string instruments, particularly those in the violin family. It's my specialty, and I know the instruments tend to run a little high in price for many people.

Ah, or perhaps a piano, if you are fortunate enough to have one?

Unfortunately I don't have a piano yet - only keyboards, but I could let you use one of the latter. I have a fairly nice one that I bought before I planned to record; it didn't have the right hookups for my hardware so I ended up replacing it.

I can't say that I have any violins either, but I might be able to find one. I also have acoustic and electric guitars, as well as an electric bass, if you can put any of them to use.

I understand. I could certaintly make use of the keyboard and acoustic guitar, but don't feel you have to burden yourself to find a violin for me. I'm sure I'll find one with time and funds.

And since it would be your instruments in the studio, I could give you an extra key so you could practice whenever you like as well.

Hurray, music! bluesatellite June 14 2008, 15:38:38 UTC
My name is Himemiya Chikane. I think it's a lovely idea, offering lessons in music. May I ask what level you intend to teach at when it comes to the violin?

It's a pleasure to meet you, Himemiya-san, I am Kaioh Michiru.

As for levels, I don't plan on excluding anyone. I can teach from a beginner on upwards, though of course, those more accustomed to playing will probably be doing less questioning and more discussing of individual techniques.

It's a pleasure to meet you too, Kaioh-san.

No matter one's level, it's always helpful to discuss technique and style with others. I am not all that experienced with the violin, so I'll definitely seek you out someday if you don't mind teaching me.

I do miss playing, even if I've only been away from home for a short time.

Of course I wouldn't mind teaching you. Feel free to contact me whenever you feel ready to begin lessons.

And I understand... music is one of the better cures for homesickness.
