It took a little while, but I've found a way to provide for Hotaru and I while we're in this city. It's a small studio but I dont think I'll need much more space. It will need a bit of cleaning and sprucing up though

I'm thankful for your generosity. What I really need are string instruments, particularly those in the violin family. It's my specialty, and I know the instruments tend to run a little high in price for many people.
Ah, or perhaps a piano, if you are fortunate enough to have one?
Unfortunately I don't have a piano yet - only keyboards, but I could let you use one of the latter. I have a fairly nice one that I bought before I planned to record; it didn't have the right hookups for my hardware so I ended up replacing it.
I can't say that I have any violins either, but I might be able to find one. I also have acoustic and electric guitars, as well as an electric bass, if you can put any of them to use.
I understand. I could certaintly make use of the keyboard and acoustic guitar, but don't feel you have to burden yourself to find a violin for me. I'm sure I'll find one with time and funds.
And since it would be your instruments in the studio, I could give you an extra key so you could practice whenever you like as well.

My name is Himemiya Chikane. I think it's a lovely idea, offering lessons in music. May I ask what level you intend to teach at when it comes to the violin?
It's a pleasure to meet you, Himemiya-san, I am Kaioh Michiru.
As for levels, I don't plan on excluding anyone. I can teach from a beginner on upwards, though of course, those more accustomed to playing will probably be doing less questioning and more discussing of individual techniques.
No matter one's level, it's always helpful to discuss technique and style with others. I am not all that experienced with the violin, so I'll definitely seek you out someday if you don't mind teaching me.
I do miss playing, even if I've only been away from home for a short time.

And I understand... music is one of the better cures for homesickness.
