I had an amazing lunch today at Cuba Linda (10841 Q St.). As far as I know, it is the only Cuban restaurant in Omaha. I had a meal of shredded beef, rice, black beans, and fried green plantains. I can't wait to go back. So good.

very recently open. sarah x thinks it is expensive, but she is wrong :)

sandwiches are $6-7, dinners $10-15

all of the combo meals were meat-based, but the beans at least didn't have any visible chunks of meat. you could easily get rice, beans, plantain, and yuca and have a good meal.

I kinda wish Sarah X had taken me there instead of the Korean joint (still good) we went to when I was last in the Big O. I have only myself to blame since I requested Azn food. I shoulda said Qbn. Mebz next time.
