Wow. That post was absolutely incredible.

I'm at work right now and, for some reason, I decided to get online and check livejournal (weird, I know). I've been praying so much for God to just quiet my heart and tell me to chill out with certain things. I've discovered that in this place and time, everything we're experiencing seems HUGE. That is, it seems a lot bigger than it really is. For example, school is really hammering me hard right now and sometimes I just feel like giving up. In reality, God is the Man in charge...and you said it perfectly with "you were made to be great".

I don't think I make much sense right now, but God reached me through that and now I feel like a huge burden is lifted off of my shoulders. I forgot how it feels to just step back and breathe and remember what is really important: God and our relationship with Him. Sure, school is very important, but God is the ultimate everything.

praise God!! i am so thankful that He spoke to you through that. i've been praying for the same thing lately- to just be silent and listen to what He is saying. it's a hard thing to do sometimes, because like you said our problems seem so HUGE to us. but once we stop looking at our problems and start looking at Him, they aren't problems anymore. they're victories. and i truly believe that.

you most definitely make sense. we are able to deal with the things that affect us because God IS the Man in charge, and He is on our side! [i'm gettin some Church started up in here! hello, amen?]

praise the Lord for lifting that burden off of you. it can get so heavy, can't it? you are so right. He is the ultimate everything. i can never thank Him enough for His amazing amazing Grace in my life. not on this earth at least.

your post is awesome and soo true. i was really in a bad mood, and it was really good to read something so encouraging.

oh i quit the cheese. i start working at target tommorrow. 10pm to 6am. in a week, ill probably commit suicide...anyway great post anna! (beautiful picture, you look so good)

BRANDON! i've been thinking about you, wondering how you've been doing. i am so glad you commented. you are so awesome! congrats on the target job. those are good hours. i for one have to stay away from that place or i'll buy everything i see that uses the words "extremely" or "radiant" on the label. i'm sure you'll like it, though you'll get pretty busy the next few weeks i'm sure. you've dealt with chuck e cheese, though. you can deal with ANYTHING. haha.
