We had a very smart dog and now have a huge, food-obsessed dog. I wholly advocate the Simple Human locking trashcan; I never thought I'd spend that much on a garbage container, but SO WORTH IT.

I can only imagine, if placed in a bin, his already-impressive meow would only intensify to disastrous proportions.

I am constantly grateful that my cats have no interest in the empty cans once they've been thoroughly rinsed and dumped in the recycling bin. Although Hecate has been known to drag one out and sit on it a bit. She's so odd.
