SUPERBROS. I think a while ago I mentioned that Mindy was kind of jealous of Breeze and not really sure how to approach her. She's mostly over that! Mindy's noticed that while Breeze has the cool powers, she also has flaws like being the most unobservant person ever and acting kind of rashly. So now that Breeze isn't a threat to her, Mindy likes talking with Breeze a lot! She's easy to bounce ideas off of and the fact that every time they talk they end up with a BAD PLAN is awesome. Breeze gets her in a way that a lot of other people don't and Mindy appreciates that. She's seriously considering just telling her about the whole secret identity thing, since Mindy believes Breeze is probably trustworthy enough and would understand why lying had to happen. She just hasn't... gotten around to it yet... :|b

Breeze likes Mindy as much as she can like a normal kid, because right now that's what Mindy is to her. Just... normal and average. Right now she pities her for not having powers, but more than that, for not having any apparent badass skills at all. That's why she's so blase about letting kids like Mindy (and Vanya shh) be the "bait" in the terrible plan to trap the virus. Because, you know, what else are they going to do? At least Mindy'd be useful this way! In Brianna's world you're either useful or you're expendable. She knows that's not fair, and she's... sort of trying to be like more of a normal kid when she hangs out with Mindy, because she wants to have friends, but it's hard for her to stop placing more status on things like "can you shoot a gun?" instead of "are you a nice person?" because she's just not used to it. But she does think Mindy is nice and pretty cool and they could have fun if they hung out more

LEO REMAINS AN ENIGMA! But he's an enigma she's fond of, and he's at the top of the list of kids she regularly checks in with to make sure that they're doing okay. Wendy's not 100% sure this is necessary in Leo's case, but he doesn't seem to classify himself as a serious fighter so she does it anyway. One of these days she's going to start poking him about his home life and such, buuut for now is content to explain comic books to him and talk about other mundane things.

WENDY IS COOL. Which is...interesting for Leo. Half of the time he puts up a terrible front with people and is just "when can I stop socializing and go reaaaad" but he sincerely enjoys Wendy's company. She's fun, she's got a good sense of humor, and she has not poked his trauma issues in the slightest. Even during the awkward sign thing she didn't comment, and she got major bonus points for that. That being said, she is in a middle ground where he enjoys her as a person but does not want her touching any of his Issues, because no one should touch those ever. And he respects her as an adult, but just barely. She's too...chill, for lack of a better word, for him to see her as a proper Responsible Adult Figure.

Also I want to say Kurt and Anemone? I think they'd be fun to play off of each other.

Do you have any plans for your characters in the near future? General shenanigans? Dumb high schoolesque drama?

General shenanigans! I have a couple posts in mind for Wendy and I want Mindy to continue being terrible at people, but I don't plan stuff it just... kind of happens. Best player \o/

UGH WHY DID THIS TAKE SO LONG

Ssoooo Hanna was her favorite camp person! Emphasis on camp, because when she started attaching herself to people she was not expecting to be around long enough for anyone to really start to matter. Her boss was going to show up after a couple of weeks, bust open the barrier, possibly lecture her on the dangers of time distortion, etc. etc. And then she'd say bye to her new friends and feel sad for a while but get over it pretty quickly, because she has mutant superpowers that let her rationalize these things

SEE THE FIRST PART OF MY WORDVOMIT TO HANNA. Wendy considers Conrad to be a friend now, not just some temporary camp buddy. This has a lot to do with how he handled the virus incident! She thinks he was really understanding about the whole alternate universe thing and really appreciated him telling her that Hanna's injury wasn't her fault despite the fact that it totally was :( :( :( So she's much more comfortable around him now, since she knows that they are capable of having serious discussions about things without everything ending awkwardly or something. PLUS Conrad's snarking about things with her AND making pop culture references AND smiling occasionally! THIS MEANS WE'RE FRIENDS, RIGHT. tl;dr Wendy is pretty darn fond of Conrad and would happily shank bitches on his behalf.

CONRAD THINKS HANNA WAS ACTUALLY KIND OF A DICK TO WENDY and idk he was pretty pissed at Hanna for lying to her and putting him in the middle and generally being an idiot and kind of. ready to take Wendy's side if it ever explicitly came to that? which it... didn't... really... but I guess it means they're bros?? even though he would probably never actually admit it?? wat is feelings how does this work. also he thinks it would be silly to hold her responsible for something that was very obviously not her fault and hates to see HER hold herself responsible for it no stop it Wendy this is stupid!! idk otherwise a lot of it is the same except now he would probably punch somebody in the face if she got hurt and get himself into a world of trouble.

What is Wendy's favorite piece of art she's made in camp thusfar?

HURM probably either her epic Marcy painting or the one she's currently working on that has the carnival/virus. The first one is just ~awesome~ and the second one is letting her work out her ridiculous amounts of hate/frustration towards the whole stupid virus while also turning out pretty sweet. She probably bugs Roxie every so often about it! Like :D :D Roxie look :D :D DO YOU LIKE IT?

How much time does Roxie spend in the studio/what kind of music is she usually playing?

Roxie is a recluse/socially awkward/HATES MOST PEOPLE so it's a fair bet she's in her studio for most of the day. Not always working on art, though! Sometimes she's in her side room doing whatever. Music-wise... if Wendy's there she avoids all non-Patsy Cline country out of courtesy. I would say her usual rotation is like... a lot of alternative rock in the vein of the Pixies and Sonic Youth, indie rock/indie pop in the vein of Rilo Kiley, riot grrrl (Bikini Kill, Sleater-Kinney, etc., but more the latter than the former when she's working), chillout music, anything related to The Velvet Underground, and occasionally some hip-hop (Wu-Tang Clan in particular). There's very rarely anything super guitar-heavy. #2 on this set of answers in an older one of these memes is a decent list of artists she might listen to, really.

What music is Wendy into?

Indie pop/rock, mostly! Her tastes mesh pretty well with Roxie's so she probably hardly ever bothers to bring her own music to the studio! But her personal painting playlist is mostly stuff like Earlimart, Russian Futurists, Matt and Kim, and maybe The Go! Team. She has a healthy appreciation for classic rock, but that stuff's for training!11! and not being creative.

Does Roxie actually think they'll be able to keep that couch clean and free of paint for an extended period of time?
