I'm glad I've never really watched Avatar the Last Airbender. The casting news about the live action movie makes it sound ridiculous.

That guy. From the look of it the other main characters are being played by similarly white people. Although, in their defense, it's hard to think of someone whiter than Jesse McCartney

Dude, the guy sucks as a writer. In the past he's at least been able to competently cast his movie.

The whole concept of Avatar was a western studio trying to nail the anime style. What's the point of making it live action?
