After this session, Miles will no longer be teaching at iO.  He will have workshops at different theaters.  If you weren’t able to take him at iO, I highly recommend taking his workshops.  Something Chris Trew always says when he coaches/teaches is, “Take what you want from what I have to give you.  Throw away the stuff that doesn’t work for you.

I don't have my notes from class, but a line I remember him saying that I thought was awesome (forgive me if I mess it up, but it makes sense in my mind):

You don't want two negative people or two positive people because they're either fighting or f**king.

OK, it actually sounds like a good scene when you read it like that, but the point is excessive agreement can stall a scene just as bad as an excessive argument.
