i give up on sleep
more improv dreams last night--which means more brain useage and less nap time. i did a whole redacted show. this morning i woke up at 7 to neighbors slamming doors and running up and down stairs and a text from clif about our out of bounds submission. this after a bedtime past 1am. the universe is against my beauty sleep for some reason. My dreams were all about music last night. The first one I was in the passenger seat of a car, driving through a sparsely populated desert-type area (don't know who the driver was). PIF! Oh, how do I love thee?
I got into town Wednesday night & stayed w/ my sis. Thursday I had a doctor & dentist appointment, got a pedicure and massage, and ran errands. On my way to the pedi, I was driving by Fast Signs so I stopped in to see Paul. He seems to be doing really well and is very happy. I'm glad for that. It was nice to see him and catch up. I have been riding an awesome wave of improv lately. Saturday I started L4 with Eric Hunicutt. I ended up doing the last scene of class with Eric the Toyota Dude, and it was super fun and good, which Hunicutt pointed out. I've had two Redacted shows that have gone really well. This weekend was wicked busy. Had an audition Friday at 2. Left directly from there to drive to PHX at 3. Traffic + rain = extra 2 hours on my trip. Got to AZ late Friday night. Went directly to bed: did not pass go, did not collect $200. Slept in a strange, yet comfy bed at my sister's. Woke up too early...not enough sleep but too much ( Read more... ) -
Joy of all joys
Jack McBrayer played in the Armando last night. And he did some scenes with Josh! The show was really good. Bob Odenkirk was the monologist, and he's the best one I've seen in a long time--if not the best period.
